Jaimie

Jaimie is one of Brian’s earliest friends from college. They both lived on the same floor of the Boisen wing of the Teter dorm (“Get it right, Teter’s tight!”). During their second year of undergrad, Brian was a frequent guest at Jaimie and Carlo Angiuli’s apartment, often crashing on their futon and getting woken up by the Dalai Lama’s nephew. They spent their last two years in Bloomington as roommates at 210 E 12th St., studying hard and partying not quite as hard. Their times in Bloomington together didn’t end after they graduated; Brian moved back for his postdoctoral studies more than a decade after moving there for undergrad and hosted Jaimie as he defended his Ph.D. thesis. More recently, the duo drove down from Indianapolis to Bloomington to attend Patrick’s bachelor party. Although they failed to climb up the video game map-unlocking tower that mysteriously appeared at the IU Arboretum, they had a great time visiting their old haunts like Upland and Nick’s. Brian is grateful that Jaimie is able to take a break from nature photography and storm chasing to join him on his special day.
